The SPDZ1 3-Inch Stainless Steel Race Downpipes are engineered for BMW’s twin-turbocharged S55 platform. By replacing the restrictive factory catalytic-converter downpipes with a freer-flowing stainless-steel design, these downpipes help reduce exhaust backpressure, improve turbo spool and deliver the sharper, more aggressive exhaust tone enthusiasts expect from a modified BMW M car.
Designed as a direct-fit performance upgrade for the F80 M3, F82/F83 M4 and F87 M2 Competition, the kit features smooth transitions, precision-formed tubing, TIG-welded construction, integrated oxygen-sensor bungs and a flex section to help accommodate heat expansion and drivetrain movement.

Important: Confirm your vehicle is equipped with the BMW S55 twin-turbo engine before ordering. This product is not intended for N55-powered M2 models or S58-powered G8X M3/M4 models.
Performance Notes
Removing the restrictive factory catalytic converters can significantly reduce exhaust restriction. Similar S55 downpipe systems are commonly used with ECU tuning to improve turbo response and support additional horsepower and torque. Actual results depend on the vehicle, fuel, tune, supporting modifications and overall condition.
Installation and Tuning
Professional installation is strongly recommended. An ECU calibration may be required to maximize performance and address catalyst-efficiency fault codes. New gaskets and any worn factory hardware should be inspected or replaced during installation.
